Course Information & Policy

 

The Application Process

 

Upon taking this journey the prospect must adhere to the two requirements below:

 

`A mandatory overview of the program with parent/guardian, 

`A private interview with the Director of Art

 

Registration Policy

 

TASPA highly recommends early registration, as classes fill early or could be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Tuition is due in full plus the registration fee at the time of enrollment. 

TASPA encourages Parents/Guardians to choose courses carefully, we also advise class inquires, as it our aim to aid you in making the right decisions for your student. Please contact TASPA with any questions regarding educational programs.

 

Tuition 

 

Each District or student will contribute their of hourly rate, two weeks payroll or monthly tuition towards their selected choice of study. Late payments are subjected to a $10 fee on the next payment cycle. Funds collected will help build the TASPA Student and will help provide special needs such as T-shirts, Printed Materials, Books, Outings etc.  All Payments are asked to be made out in a Cashiers Check, or Personal Check, Cash is excepted however, for compliance purposes we ask that all payments are made out in a check form made payable to TASPA or The After School Performance Academy. 

 

 

Withdrawal Policy

 

All courses during the duration of the school year are non­refundable, to withdraw, contact taspa.edu@gmail.com. At TASPA All workshops and yearly courses are grouped by age and taught by a professional Performing Artist. Refunds for summer workshops will be granted only if written notification is given no later than one week before scheduled workshop. There is a $10 administration fee for all refunds. Prorated fees/partial attendance is not available unless due to inclement weather(please take a look at IW policy)

 

Previewing/Ending Showcases

For The After School Performance Academy, upon vacation week observing a holiday, and ending summer programs or workshops: These programs conclude with a final showcase on the last scheduled date of the session. All final showcases are open to family, friends and prospective students.

 

Inclement Weather

 

In the event that TASPA closes or a class cancellation due to inclement weather, please always check our website and social media pages for updates or call the Emergency Contact Number. TASPA will put forth reasonable efforts to contact students by phone and email. In the event of a cancellation due to IW, a make­up class will be offered. If the student is not able to attend the make­up class, a partial refund will be issued.

 

Medical Emergency 

 

If there is a medical emergency and we are unable to contact a parent or if time does not permit, 911 services will be used. All expenses are the responsibility of parent/legal guardian.

 

Code of Conduct

 

TASPA aims to provide students with a safe and supportive environment, we do not tolerate any form of physical or verbal abuse, harassment, vandalism, or the use of any illegal substances. Any behaviors found in violation of this policy will be addressed and the student may be asked to leave until further notice a parent/instructor conference must be scheduled and adhered to before any decisions are made at the discretion of TASPA. No refunds or credits will be issued if a student is expelled for a violation of the Code of Conduct.

 

Photos and Video

 

TASPA has permission to utilize any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or other exhibition, publication or reproduction made for publicity purposes for/from TASPA. Personal identifiers will not be permitted in any publications. Students or others except for TASPA may not video or photograph any choreography or creative work created by TASPA and its affiliate’s.

 

Arrival and Dismissal

Students in Courses/Workshop or Camps must be dropped off and picked up at their classroom and will be asked to sign the student out sign in/out sheet.
